nesting box - how many and how big?

hi yall i am going to build some nesting boxes that will attach to a side of my 2' x 5' coop... i have 5 pullets... should I go for 1 good size nest box or have 2 smaller nesting box? since it will be attached to the end of the coop the max width i have to work with is 24 inches.... (so two 12x12 boxes or 1 bigger ~14,16,18x12?) thanks in advance for all input.

better to have to many than not enought.
But they will probably use one!

I have 8 laying with 4 boxes as an option for them but they only use 2 per day so I would say 2 boxes.

sweet! thanks yall... two it is!

i will add a center divider and make the center divider removable so i can still have 1 big nest if i ever needed it for anything (so tempted to get more pullets right now haha)
