Nesting boxes are in!

We finally put the nesting boxes in the coop. Based on how old I think they are, my ladies should start laying later this month or early next month. Do I need to put them in the boxes or will they figure out what to do?

They'll figure out what to do. Bedding in the nests and a couple of golf balls for encouragement will work. Are the roosts significantly higher than the nests ? If not they may start sleeping in the nest boxes.

Yep, the roost is higher than the nesting box.
