Nesting boxes

I have three nesting boxes. 1 plastic egg in a box, 1 plastic egg in another box. I have a shiny plastic egg. I was wondering if it would be ok to put it in the other nesting box. Is putting a Shiny egg in the nesting box going to do anything? Or is it fine to put it in?

One thing about it, if they dont like it they will just move to another box. My silly girls have three to choose from but I have seen the day when 3 birds all try to get in the same one. It's like no one wants to move. I leave them alone to do their thing.

I have over 50 hens and 6 nesting boxes- I am sure yours won't mind sharing
