? Nesting boxes ??

Is it best to put divider walls between each nest ?

This is the outside with top that raises to get eggs.

Should the inside be painted. Especially the 2x4's they will roost on.

I don't think it is necessary to divide the nesting area into individual nest boxes.

Might be easier to clean painted, but I think that is your choice too.

BTW- What's the story on the words drilled into the wall above the nests?

Looks like it says HAPPY HEXS, just curious??????

I don't have a divider in my nest "tray", and my girls seemed to like it jus fine.

Yes. Happy Hens !! My husband was going to drill holes for ventilation. I mentioned naming the coop. He was all for it. I think once we are finished and get it all painted and cleaned up you will be able to read it better.
