My Wyandottes are being weird. they're burrowing/rolling/digging into their bedding and i dont know y. R they nesting?

They are dustbathing. It's a favorite chicken recreation.

Get a small cat litter box, or a pan from your kitchen if you wish, and put sand in it!! Once they get over the initial fear of the "new thing" they will have a blast!
