nestling boxes nest

Hi Guys and ladies

I will use this nestling boxes for my Chicken hen layers

(Barred Rocks , Black Australorps , Silver Laced , Buff Orpington , and Red Sex Link )

I saw 2 models of this type of nestling :

# 1 ..... Model K10P ..... nest size 7 " high by 11 1/2 " wide

# 2 .... Model BB10 .... nest size 10 " high by 14 " wide

If some body use this type of nestling

Which Model is better for the type of chicken hen layers that I mentioned before ??

More importantly is how many chickens will be using it.
You may not need as many nests as you think. They don't lay at the same time and not every day.
3 to 5 chickens per nest is about right.

Yes I know that is 1 Nestling boxes nest by 4 chicken hen layer .

I will have 200 chickens...I know that I" need 6 nestling boxes nest... total 60 hole nests .

Please if you use this nestling boxes

which model size is good ? For all types of chicken that I mentioned.

I would go with the taller ones:
# 2 .... Model BB10 .... nest size 10 " high by 14 " wide.

Even 10" is kind of short......but 7" is way too short, In My Opinion.

I will have for breed chicks start 1 er day on a room ... 15 feets large by 8 feets wide .

I want to put 200 chicks

# 1...... Can I leave them until to the end 5 - 6 weeks old ??

Also I will have a breeder big room 64 feets large by 32 feets wide... ( Total 2048 feets )

# 2.... can I transfer all chicks with 6 weeks old to this big room ?


I think that I don't need the chicken tractors ... It's correct ??
