so, the boy and I are flat out with a bad bronchitis, and he signed up for free netflix.
I fear the potato. I see it coming.
Monk, stargate, red dwarf, black adder... What have we done?
I feel like I just tasted crack or something.
Will I need a 10 step program?
We have never had cable, or even decent tv reception.
How do those of you who have lived with such awesome technology go about your daily lives?

...and what other tv programs have we missed in the last 30 years?
seriously. I never knew.

We love our Netflix!

...so, you say we are doomed?
I suppose we could cancel once we experience the fresh taste of oxygen again, and we are on our feet... but with all that digital goodness...will we ever ever leave the living room again?

We don't have TV. No TV at all because we live out in the middle of nowhere and if you don't have satellite you don't even have local programming. So we have Netflix. I LOVE that you can watch stuff on the computer. I like to pick some old 1960's movie and relax in the evening a few times a few while the kids watch whatever new disc they got. If the weather is bad or one of the kids is sick (thank you public school system) they can even watch Spongebob or other cartoons on the computer. Wonderful, wonderful thing to have for those of us who just can't see paying a whole lot of money for TV we never watch but want to be entertained every once in awhile.

Yes, you are doomed. There is no willpower where Netflix is concerned. You'll have to walk around in dirty clothes, with stinky breath in your filthy house because you won't want to miss that next episode of Night Gallery.

AUGGH!
that is EXACTLY my fear!

Sucked in. *sigh*

...I think he has star gate Atlantis dialed in... wreath? rathe? spiders? it is a stay away but have to look sort of thing.

I need to get well.
It is gardening weather and I am stuck inside peeking around the corner to see who gets their chest sucked dry.
it isn't healthy.

Hope you feel better soon.

I tried to talk DH into netflix and failed. We settled for a DVR instead.
