I read somewhere that giving stinging nettles to chickens is actually a good thing. I have some in my yard, but I'm wondering whether I should dry or cook before feeding? I would prefer drying it and then adding to the feed by mashing it all together, but would it lose the nutrients if dried? 🤔 Anyone familiar with this?

Only thing I recall, and that was Long Long Long ago when I was a lil snipe, Mom would give only the young fresh sprouts to chickens. There were plenty of the large, mature growth all summer, and she never used any of that.
