My hens have just started laying again - well, 4 of 6 have.
They will be 3yo this Spring and this was the first Winter they stopped laying - right after everybody went through a Major Moult.

But true to BYC Lore, the eggs I'm getting now are Ginormous!
XL-Jumbo for certain and one near the size of a duck egg!

So nice to have extra eggage on my countertop.
I've even started feeding them back 2 a day, mixed into their morning oatmeal.
(yes, my flock is spoiled rotten

Yeah, I get about half mediums and half too big to be jumbo. I can't believe the yolks.

Am quite jealous. Mine have begun to lay again and they're just normal size.
