first of all- it would help if you changed your tittle to something more like 'Babby Chicks Missing' or some thing. If you really wantto know what to do, I may not be much help, but mainly because I lack information.
Here are my questions:
1. What time do you put them away
2. Do you live in a feild, a forest, what ever
3. Did you see how the other chickens died (no pictures wanted, just discriptions) like a mole, I think it is, will just rip it's head off.
4. How old are they exactly? You said a month, but I want to know the age in weeks, that would help me alot.

Those are my questions. I will follow this page because I want to help.

I read your post the other day, but I cant quite remember all the details...did you just lose a couple, or was it all of your chicks...guess we need some more details so we can help...

Hope there havent been any more losses, or maybe you found those who went missing? We have 2 barn cats besides our pet cats that just showed up, so we care for them...I know one of them for sure picked off one of my layers earlier this summer that happened to be outside the fence on her own, and I was pretty upset about it...one of the cats is gone now, but I saw the other one is back and sniffing around the chicken run, I try and scare it off when I see it, probably can smell some fresh chicks out there...I tell ya, I better not hear any ruckus out there, or someone will be going down!

Anyway, I guess if you had more details, you might get a better response..

Again, hope there havent been any more losses, seems if a predator is around, they will keep coming around until there is nothing to come back for....good luck!

It appears the OP is no longer looking for help, so I will go ahead and close this topic.
