Isle of wight
Ive just picked up two ixworth hens and two free white wynadottes.
Really pleased to have them join the family of roamers in the back garden.
There was a bit of a tussle between the ixworths and the bluebell and brahma, but all settled down by roosting time.
Ive put the wynadottes in with the brown warrens as they were from the same farmer and all has been well.

This bird does not appear to be a pure-bred White Wyandotte, as its comb looks remarkably like a cross between a pea-combed and a rose-combed bird. Also, the body shape is wrong for a Wyandotte; it looks more like that of a White Rock.

This bird is more like a typical Wyandotte, though I can't tell exactly from the photo whether she has a rose comb or a single comb. The rounded, deeper body type is correct for a Wyandotte, unlike the longer, more rectangular shape of the previous bird.
