We picked up 5 new chickens yesterday. They're supposedly Ameraucanas. Can anyone tell the sex of them? They're about 3 months old. I'm thinking the little grey one is a hen and one of the bigger black ones too. The others, I'm not sure.

They are probably Easter Eggers unless they came from a honest breeder. One looks to me as if it has a single comb (however it could be a trick of the camera), and if this is true, as least she is definitely an EE. You could get pictures of her comb if you want a little more clarification

We snapped some quick pics of their combs before putting them to bed tonight. (They're still learning to sleep in the coop) Do they help at all?
