Hi All!
I'm an old member who's been away a while. I've been keeping chickens for 7ish years. With a lot of help from the friendly, knowledgeable folks here, I raised the first flock from day old chicks. Since then I've adopted adult hens from a local Day Camp/Teaching Farm. That farm closed and I was down to 1 lonely Ameracauna hen in the coop. So I am back to raising baby chicks! Today I picked up 2 EE's and 1 Black Australorp - hatched 5/28. The little fluff balls are all settled in the brooder and I decided I'd better refresh my memory and make sure I haven't forgotten anything too important about 2 week old chicks!
