New - And chickens arrived today...

I have to say I am pretty excited about this. I have always wanted to have a small farm. My family has some land they do not utilize so I am going to raise rabbits, chickens, have some beehives, and maybe a few goats next year. My chicks arrived today. I was worried about them being shipped during this heatwave but they are considerably more active than I anticipated. I am now the proud parent of 10 Plymouth Rocks, 10 Rhode Island Reds, and 10 Buff Orps. I have learned alot already from this forum and look forward to learning more.
