New and looking for tips!

Hi! I am new to having chickens and would love all of your tips. I will just be getting a couple (hopefully heritage) chickens to start out as I live in a city. I will not be feeding my chickens wheat or soy because I am just getting over a food intolerance to eggs and although they were free range happy hen's chickens my daughter and I both got eczema on our face that went away when we cut the eggs out. So, because I can't seem to find what I am looking for I will happily do it myself! Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Oh and I just ordered Harvey Ussery's book!

The various tabs within the link discuss raising chicks, nutrition, housing, egg laying, etc. Sorry I can advise on the special feeding requirements. Good luck to you on your journey!
