I started owning chickens this spring. There are 16, 6 BA, 3WLH, 3 ISA Browns, and 4 Americaunas. My girls have named the last 4 and put there names in hearts in the coop. It's been a blast and I've been reading alot about chickens. Already freed a closed vent, sweating and nervous while doing it. But after that, I feel like I have been in labor caring for newborns. I look forward to my first egg. We've been saving our egg cartons. So glad there is this website. I've learned alot from others already.
