Hi there,
Not completely new to raising chickens, but haven't for about 12 years. On Aug 15th we got 4 day old chicks from our local hatchery. I'm in Ontario, Canada btw.
We got 3 sasso(one silver, one ivory, one scarlet). These are hybrids and I don't know their ancestry.
The 4th and the one I'm most concerned about is a Noiran, which is also a hybrid, I believe one of the crosses is black copper Maran. Not sure if that helps. The other 3 seems to develop feathers at the same rate and have rounded tails. This ones tail is all raggedy. Behaviour wise it seems to be on its own alot and also the last one to take treats from a plate. At first was the least affectionate but it seems to be getting more social. Anyway, sorry for the ramble, I have checked diff threads on here and don't really see many with these particular hybrids. I think these chickens are more popular in Canada and Europe.
Here are some pics from yesterday.
Thanks so much for looking.

Hi there from a fellow Canadian in Quebec! I was looking to add some Sasso hens to our small backyard flock. How have your Sasso’s been? Do they lay well? Have they handled the cold, and are they noisy? Thank you!!
