Got my first Calls a few days ago. They're all supposed to be girls so now I'm listening closley. They're juveniles and aren't supposed to get anymore than twice their current size. I'm sure 2 are girls and the other is a late blooming girl. They're a bit skittish around people. But one of them ate from my hand today.

i named all my muscovy hens after booze, haha. i dont even drink but thought it would be a neat idea..

But I'm holding off on them just for now. They really are the most adorable new animals I have ever added to our little farm.

And you're right: LOUD!!! They live up to their names! As soon as I pick one up, I can hear what a great set of lungs they all have.

Congrats. That black bibbed on the left is gorgeous. Wish I had a couple to add to my white calls. Still trying to find a pair of mandarins. Again, congrats on your new calls.
