New at owning Chooks Help Please

Latest update she came off the nest and has been in the yard for a while so I went in and fed her some of her favorites then I shut the door to the Pen where they sleep she seems ok still eating and laying with the Rooster, when I checked the nest there were no eggs just the two golf balls so I have removed them , we will see what happens from here .
