I am new to chicken raising. Hello. I have 2 day old baby chicks from McMurray hatchery. I have two Australops, two red stars and two black stars plus a mystery chick. I have them in a super sized dog crate I turned into a chick nursery. Using a brooder plate. Using grubby Farms chick starter feed.they are eating drinking and warm. Boy are they messy. I have three kids 17, 15 and 6. This is a me and my 6 year old project. I also have a 3 year old female English Springer Spaniel and 3 Guppys - which I have one from hatch. (For the fish- the mommy lives with my sister alone in her own tank after eating the male and most of her babies (she was nuts).
I am also a RN case Manager and I work FT
