First hatch. Plastic tub with a clamp-on desk lamp. (as you can imagine, temps ranged from 90 to 111 degrees). On day 18 I covered the tub with a giant clear plastic bag and put a humidifier in the bag (65-70%)
The evening of day 22 I gave up and put them all in the garage to "deal with" on Tuesday morning.
Tuesday morning I heard peeping! I hatched 2 on Tuesday, 4 on Wednesday, 1 yesterday and it looks like 1 more today.
Number 7 has crooked toes so I made her some shoes and she's improving, all the others are running around like crazy having all sorts of fun.
I am ADDICTED. Already planning next batch of eggs and a legit incubator and perhaps an auto egg turner.
