I recently brought my new chicks out to get used to their coop. My 1 year old girls are fine just watching them. But I noticed one of my hens is roosting below the other older girls and does not go up and roost with them. Should I be concerned?

Welcome to BYC!
Could be low hen, could be she is molting.....molt can be uncomfortable and they often will just avoid the RoostTimeRumble and settle in another place away from the fray.

The chicks are in their own coop and not allowed out yet so food is separate. So pleased that the chicks have learned to come down/fly out this morning. Now to convince them to go back in at night.
