New babies!!

Ok so I had to get a few more chicks because I think I may have some roos. So I went and got 3 Barred Rocks that are about 5 days old. I have them in a seperate brooder because they need more heat but I am wondering if I can let them visit my 6 RIR's that are 3-4 weeks old. I want them to get used to each other. I would supervise these little "meet and greets". Is this ok to do?



I really never saw myself as a chicken person but since I have started I don't want to stop

I would keep them in quarantine for a week or two before introducing them. you don't want to spread germs. after that supervised visits are fine

when you feel they're ready to meet, you can take them outside on a warm day and they can play and get to know each other
