New baby duck

well after a few weeks of Hershey being by herself. I picked up a few days old duck. She’s not sure about the new addition. Hershey is almost a year old. She did pick the duckling up by the bill and move it. She didn’t move it far just from being in front of her to he side. Will post pictures soon.

If your adult is 1 yr old I think you would be best letting her get use to a duckling that's a few days old slowly having them together but make it so there isn't a way for your adult to be able to injure the little one. Temp fencing is the best way.

1year old duck free range mostly. I’m doing supervision for the little one. Also as we have 2 month old cats for now. Older girl has been broody lately.
