Ok so i got my pekin, Ping who is around 1 week old some friends who are much younger. they are about 4 days old. So far they get along... Ping seems to protect them and show them around. But sometimes she gets a little annoyed with them and bites at their beaks, not aggressively though. Maybe its just curiosity. The little ones are chirping nonstop. One of them has her beak open a lot. Idk what that is... Anyways, they will still imprint on eachother right? Ping is huge compared to them, but she's nice to them. IMAG7177.jpg

Boy are they cute! They should still imprint on each other and bond nicely. Just keep an eye out but to make sure they aren't hurting each other at all. There will always be 'pecking order' and a little dominance to show it though. As long as they're doing fine, it should go great!

Awe, I'm glad you were able to find Ping some buddies. Sometimes when they first get home the peep a lot because they are scared and in a new environment. Sometimes when they peep a lot it is because they are too hot or too cold. If they are always hanging out under the light, they are probably too cold and the light may need to be closer or a higher watt bulb, if they are always away from the light they might be too hot and you might need to raise the light up or switch to a lower watt bulb. Make sure the position of the heat is in a spot so they can get near it or get away from it when they want. Since Ping is so much bigger she will not need as much heat, so having areas of different temperature within the brooder is very important.
