New backyard chicken owner in NJ

Hi all! I live in NJ and just two weeks ago got three RIR hens. Having a ball with the girls and can't wait til they start laying for me!! They are let out into the yard several times a day to stretch their wings and legs!! They are 9 weeks old. Jackie

A little to hot for me!! The chickens seem to be doing OK, I was off this week so they had a lot of out time in the breeze. I froze a 2 liter soda bottle with water and put it in their coop. They enjoyed sitting by it, redneck AC LOL!!!!
