Since the weather's been so much warmer, I've put the newest batch of pullets out of the brooder earlier than I have in the past. It's just too pretty out to be in the brooder!

In the group: a sultan, a porcelain d'uccle (both about two months old), two barred rocks and an ameraucana, all three about a month old.

I wouldn't say friendly, as they're quite skittish, but if I do catch them, they don't peck or anything. They just sit there and look at me, quite peacefully, so long as they're held securely.

I don't hand tame my chickens, simply from a lack of time, but I do talk to them a lot and usually only get breeds that are known for being tame.
