Definitely a pullet. At 17 weeks it would have male feathering (saddle/hackles). Combs and wattles would be much larger in a 17 week australorp male. The bird, itself would be noticeably bigger than the others too. She is beautiful.
As a comparison, here is my black australorp rooster at 16 1/2 weeks old. Notice his definite male hackle and saddle feathers. He is also developing his sickle feathers. Your girl has none of those. Some just develop quicker than others. But she is definitely a girl. Some also are more bossy. Constantly jarring for higher spots.
im pretty sure thats a roo not a pullet, look at his saddle feathers, and the comb earlobes and waddles say roo too...
