New BYC member from Akron, OH

I am new (within the last 3 days) to BYC. My three girls and I will be raising 6 ducklings come 3-1-11. We are gonna start out small to see how things go. I would like to eventually add a few chickens and geese once we get our own place and not rent.

We are in the process of way overbuilding a duck house. I over think things too much which makes it hard once you already have a plan in mind and it should change.........paralysis by analysis.......

from a fellow Buckeye. So glad you joined. It's good to over think sometimes. My advice is to not build anything that can't be rearranged ie use screws not nails. Once you start down the poultry road, you will always be changing things around to welcome new additions.
