New BYC Member!

We are pretty new to chickens, we got our first chickens about a week ago, and those were buff orpington we also just got some day old silkie bantam chicks yesterday. I found out about backyard chickens when doing my research on what breeds of chickens I should get. I also love baking, gardening, and making DIY crafts. And right now chickens are our only pets!

Silkies are extremely difficult to sex before 4-5 mos. of age and sometimes not even till they lay eggs or crow. I hope you got some girls.
