New chic help

I had a chic hatch this morning and mama s still sitting on 2 more eggs. Should I keep chic with mom or move her to a brooder where she has access to water and food? Where she’s at now I can’t fit water and food in that area.

It's a recent hatch, right? It'll be all right without water for a bit. If you have a good mama, she will show them where the water is.

It will be ok. She needs the warmth, so it being in the 90°s is probably nice for the chick!

Yes recent. The chic was hatched in a 1/2 barrel so it won’t be able to get out. I’ll either get water in or rearrange to where there’s water close.

Uodate: chic is doing well. I put food and water in the tub. Mama seems to be doing a good job.
