new chick- bad leg??

Our chick that hatched Saturday and on Day 24 has a little bit of trouble putting one of his legs down... almost like his knee joint is stuck and he can't extend his leg
he is eating and drinking and chirping a lot but that poor little leg.. he keeps it up.
Any suggestions????

I am new to this myself. Got 15 BR's about 3 weeks ago and had a runt in the batch. As I watched him I noticed he had a bad leg and had a limp when he walked and sometimes didn't use it. I kept an eye on him and was worried he wouldn't make it. All the other chicks got to the treats faster than him and pushed him out of the way. He is almost 3 weeks and doing very well. He no longer has a leg problem but it still the runt. He also at times would keep the leg off the ground. Good luck, hope all goes well

I have also notice that the joint on his bad leg seems swollen or bigger...??
Should I try the treatment for spraddle leg and see if that helps..
He does sit down alot b/c he can't walk on that leg???
Poor little guy... not sure what it is?
