Hello Everyone,
My name is Ashley and I’m a mommy of 6 beautiful, so far very healthy chicks. I have raised ducks and totally enjoyed every bit of it. Sadly they were taken by a coyote. After two years I decided to get back into owning a flock. My children loved it, as well as myself. I chose chickens because not everyone would eat the duck gets.
So far the chick’s are doing very well and I seem to be managing things easily. I chose a different style brooder than I had for my ducks. I will post on that topic a different time.
Just taking things one step at a time and continue to enjoy watching each chick create their own personality.
Thank you also for all the amazing information that I have read on this site. It has truly been helpful and easy to get the answers I am looking for. Can’t wait to continue this journey and share my adventures along the way.
