(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes/our chicks are two weeks old.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 10
(3) What breeds do you have? We believe they are all Ameraucana's.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? So far watching them grow. They are currently living in their brooder in my home office and I get to interact with them and watch them while I work all day.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, shooting.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am married to Dan and we have three dogs. Winnie (border collie mix) and Hades and Zero (boxers). I am a project manager, a bit of a hippie and I have an unhealthy obsession with all things Disney.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I found you through Homestead and Chill! I just learned about your forums today and was excited to join to learn more about everyone an their chickens.
