Howdy y'all!

Sorry had to get that out of my system! Yesterday we welcomed three baby chicks into our family. I lurked around here on BYC for coop ideas and read threads about starting to raise chickens before we decided to get some of our own. I thought I better join to thank everyone here for their pictures and information as well as continue to ask and get advise as a member.

My family moved to East Texas at the end of last year for a career move/change. I get to be a stay at home mom now! I am teaching my toddlers about vegetable gardening and now raising chickens. They absolutely love having chickens now but we forgot what kind of chicks we have

My husband picked up the chicks and I think for sure one is a Golden Sexton but not sure of the others. They are Gold, Light Brown, and Darker but not too dark brown. We haven't named them yet either. Anyone have any tips on how they came about naming their chickens?
