Hi all! New chick to hatching duck eggs here! We have 4 fertilized Cayuga duck eggs and a Brinsea Mini Advance II incubator. When I was little my dad ordered quail eggs and an incubator through a hunting magazine and I remember being fascinated with the eggs and them hatching. With my two kids being home from school during this crazy time in the world, I thought them having eggs to hatch and then ducklings to care for afterward was something positive they could look forward to. So far we are 9 days in and we candled the eggs at 8 days and all 4 are doing great! Veins and small babies can be see inside as well as the formation of air sacs. My kids (and me!) were so excited!! Thank you in advance for all your help Im sure I will have a few questions!! Happy hatching!!
