- When I was growing up my family had chickens, now its my turn to have my own flock! I got my batch back in March 2023.

- I have 16 hens 💜

I have:
3 Buffs
2 Easter Eggers
2 Rode Island Reds
4 Mystic Onyx
5 Colombian Wyandotte's

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I get to bond with my girls, they bring my little neighbors together, if there's a windstorm, my next-door neighbors will go and check up on them. I love the little community they have created.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I'm a jack of all trades. I enjoy sewing, crocheting, knitting. Gardening, Hot-mess carpentry, hiking I enjoy a good doodle once and a while.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I work in Pharmacy I was originally a Vet tech, then was able to move to human meds. I do the specialty pharmacy; with all the fancy meds you see on tv. I have a big happy Boxer named Bella-BeanSprout.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D
I was lurking in the shadows, I kept finding wonderful articles and threads of people asking the same questions I was asking. And I thought instead of lurking and quietly talking to myself about the topic I'd join :)
