New Chicken Cooper in NC

Hi !!! I'm new to BYC . I have 1 English game bantam and his hen. They came with the coop. I have had them for 2 months and no eggs so I think she is an old hen. Then we just got 10 new chicks that are Star and RIR. Some were born May 3 and then May 10th. I'm learning about chickens daily. How do I keep the chicks from flying?

Hello and welcome.....so glad you joined BYC

If you mean keeping the chicks from flying out of their brooder area then you will probably have to put a top on it. Thats what I had to do When they are older and outside you can either put a top on your run area or there are instructions on here for wing clipping that works too.
Also about the hen that isnt laying. If she is molting she may not lay until she finishes that.
