Hey guys and gals I just wanted to quickly introduce myself, I’m new to this community and am looking forward to connecting with other poultry lovers! Here is a little about myself
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Been raising chickens for approximately 1 year
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
22 layers
75 dual purpose baby chicks
(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode Island red
barred Plymouth rocks
Columbian rocks
Speckled Sussex
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I like to watch them free roam
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Homesteading! Currently we have pigs and dairy goats as well
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We moved to a 10 acre hobby farm and have been becoming more passionate about growing and raising our own food
