Hi everyone. I’ve had my 4 chickens for 2 weeks now but I’ve wanted them for 2 years. So you could say I’m beyond excited to finally get some added to my family. I have a Cinnamon Queen, Sapphire Gem, Rhode Island Red and Black Australorp. I love that I’ll be able to have fresh delicious eggs at home. The fact that I will know what the chickens were feed is even better. I love taking pictures and reading and doing anything that’s outside. We are a family of 6 that loves nature and animals. We have a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix that we have been slowly introducing to the chicks. He’s still not sure what to think about them but he’s getting more used to them every time we let him visit them.

Welcome to BYC!!

Here is a pic of the chickadees and our dog. It’s been raining and he loves to roll in mud so don’t mind that he needs a bath.
