New chicken lady

Hi there, I'm new here and new at having chickens. I have 5 chicks right now that are 2 weeks and 3 days old. We are building the coop right now and hope to be done in a few weeks. I'm really excited and praying all my chicks are hens. I'm not allowed to have roosters where I'm at. I dont know what I will do if there are some. I'm wanting chickens as pets and eggs of course. If anyone has any good advice I'm all ears. Glad to find this group. Blessings!

Welcome. I have two chicks that are three weeks old and those little buggers can escape from everything. If there is an opening they will find it.
