New chicken lover from Vermont

Hi all! Last October I got it in my head that I wanted chickens...my husband, a dairy farmer, thought that it was just a phase that I was going through, but reluctantly built me a little chicken tractor and I adopted 5 pullets (4 black sex links and 1 barred rock). I'm hooked! I just purchased 8 chicks (4 more barred rocks and 4 golden comets). They are now a little over 3 weeks old and I'm working on getting my husband to build me a bigger coop! We live in northwestern VT with 3 young sons, aged 6, 4, and the baby will be 1 next week!
