Thanks, everyone! My new chicks arrived this morning, and I am stuck here at work chomping at the bit to get home and see them for the first time.

We went with the pine shavings. We bought pine shavings out of convenience more than anything. It's a long drive to the guy who gives me hay, and the shavings were at the Southern States just up the road.
