New Chicken mama here

Hi. I'm Bonnie in Virginia. I'm a first time chicken mama to 3 girls. I've known my chicks since they hatched. A good friend of mine hatched them for me from her barnyard mix of Easter eggers, Barred Rocks and Australorps. They are 19 weeks old. No eggs yet.

Your girls are very lovely! They aren't quite ready to lay yet since their combs are still tiny and their faces aren't bright red. Once their combs get large, they start singing, performing the egg squat and exploring the nests, you'll know the eggs will be arriving any day.

In the mean time, enjoy your ladies and welcome to this community. We are happy to help in any way we can.
