New chicken mama

Hello from Oregon. I got my new chicks a week ago and they are wonderful. I have found a ton of info on BYC. I love these little chicks so much already. I call them my fluffys but here's a picture with their names/breed. The only question I have is at what age can I start unplugging the hear lamp for short spurts?

Glad you could join us here! Congratulations on your new chicks They sure do have a way of making you fall in love with them. I've hit some newly hatched ones at the minute and they have stolen my heart already!! They bring so much fun to your life and are very rewarding too. I usually start weaning them off heat and soon as they pretty much fully feathered. If the weather is nice though I start sooner.
