we have had our flock about 2 months now and they are doing great. any info on putting sand in the coup and run. done a lot of research and I'm interested just not sure where to find the right sand.

Hi and welcome to BYC If you have a quarry around you that's the best choice, if not a box store will have construction sand. That's what you're looking for. Again welcome and so glad you joined us.

i usually use play sand from a home improvement store like home depot or lowe's

Play sand is very fine and just disappears. Home depot or Lowes would have contruction sand as well - more grit to it
