Hi. I am a fairly new chicken mama; at least raising for eggs and fun. We did 4h with the kids a long time ago. I have 7 hens; a variety of breeds. They are just now beginning to lay and I’m getting a few pullet eggs daily. So cute. I’m sure I’ll have lots of questions as I go. I’ll list my breeds below.
Buff orpington
Lavender orpington (we think)
splash orpington
Rhode Island red
Golden cuckoo maran
Black australorp
White austra
My other hobbies are gardening and I am in the process of building a chicken yard/garden.
