I was just in your neck of the woods last week. Enjoying a water park though.

Hope you have fun with your coop build. I post a pick of some of my coops. But you have to post a pic or two for us the see your finished AZ coop.
I made these when I lived in the valley.

Awesome coops, Chick Charm! I'm jealous of your construction skills!!!

Nice coop designs Chick Charm. Funny when I brought home the chicks the wife thought I was crazy, but now she can't leave them alone!!!

jwmac52 we are looking forward to your coop pics. Thanks for the compliments. There is a challenge in designing coops for the valley in Arizona, that is why I posted pics. The heat is relentless. One thing I learned was to keep the coop away from the fence (block walls in AZ most of the time) as they radiate heat late into the night. Open air seems to work best. Under a shade tree is good if you have one.

Wish ya success.

I'm lucky enough to have an acre lot in Az and no block walls. I have a nice huge mesquite tree that I will be putting it under and I have water nearby so they will be enjoying a small mist system as well...spoiled chickens!!!
