New Chicken Mom from Michigan

My name is Jeanette and I’m a brand new chicken mom in Southeast Michigan. I have a small backyard flock of mixed birds (calico princess, Orpington, SLW, and a beautiful BCM Roo named Franklin or Frank the Tank). Eleven total. My husband and I are nurses and our sons are grown. In my “spare” time I like to paint and have used my chicks as subjects which I love! I found BYC in a search for more information on how to successfully raise and keep chickens. I look forward to sharing and being a part of this great community!
