Hi Everyone,
My husband surprised me with two Roosters back in October, Harry and Lloyd. I was so excited!! Things were going great, they had a stall set up with their food and water, we made some racks in case they wanted to roost on them, and we made a big corner of straw if that's what they preferred.
They would come in go as they pleased, I never shut them in. Then when the temperatures dropped below zero, one of our roosters died, and the other one got stuck in our garage but his feet froze!! I have relied heavily on this website for answers or just to see if I am the only one experiencing this, so I decided to join to ask my own questions and get advice from more experienced chicken owners!!
We have added two more roosters to the clan and are hoping to get hens when it warms up. Thanks for everyone's support!

Happy
Roosters sure can be fun to keep. Some boys become best friends for life, especially those that have grown up together!
